What Does Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty Cover?

Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty

Vauxhall offers all of its customers a new Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty to ensure that they have peace of mind against defects that affect both material or manufacturing issues for the first 100,000 miles. This means that you have repairs and replacement parts guaranteed in that time with no extra charge by Vauxhall trained technicians. If you need repairs to your Vauxhall and you are in the first 100,000 miles, you need to contact our experts here at Drive Vauxhall. All you need to do is bring your warranty manual to us, and we’ll have everything that we need.

Your Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty doesn't, however, cover normal wear and tear to the car or the tyres. It also does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • Damage caused by accidents
  • Alteration to the vehicle (no spoilers or you void your warranty!)
  • Corrosive environments causing damage
  • Chemical treatments
  • Lubricants/fluids
  • Third-party repairs
  • Equipment that has been added that is not strictly Vauxhall equipment
  • What DOES Warranty Cover?

The Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty covers many things, and some of those include:

Vauxhall Roadside Assistance. You get this for the first year, and you have a 100,000-mile limit on the assistance. Your Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty guarantees that any repairs and parts replacements will be done at no charge, as we mentioned.

You have total peace of mind when it comes to the material or manufacturing defects for the first three years - though this is subjected to a mileage limit of 60,000 miles from the day you register the vehicle.

Engine and transmission are both covered, as well as the electronic parts of the power train, which includes the ECU

When it comes to the power train, the drive shafts and differential gears are included in the Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty.

Steering gears, pumps and all of the electronic items in the steering system are included in the Lifetime Warranty, and you also get the following elements of the car covered:

Brake system, including the booster, hydraulic unit, vacuum pump, proportioning valve, main brake cylinders, and wheel brake cylinders

All aspects of the fuel system to include injection pump, the electronic parts and the fuel pump itself

The turbocharger actuator of the exhaust system and all of the electronic components are all covered.

The cooling system is made up of the heater core, thermostat, water pump, radiator, and cooling fan, and these are all covered by the Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty.

The electronic control unit of the safety system that affects the airbags and the seatbelt tensioners are all included in the warranty. It’s important to know this because it can make a difference in whether you have to pay for it.

  • Air conditioning system
  • Electronic parts of the vehicle
