Vauxhall Unveils The All-New Electric Mokka

Vauxhall has set a standard with the launch of the new Mokka-e, an electric SUV with a big personality. Vauxhall intends all their new vehicles to follow a similar spec to the Mokka-e going forward, which means a bold design, including the Vauxhall Vizor and Pure Panel, and vehicles that are fully electric from launch. Below are some of the stand-out features of the new Mokka-e.

The Popular Mokka Series Is Now Electric

For the first time, Vauxhall has unveiled a Mokka vehicle that’s available in an electric version. The Mokka-e is powered by an electric motor that is powerful, fast-charging, and reliable. The motor delivers 100kW (134bhp) and 192ft of maximum torque from a standing start, enough to satisfy fans of the model. There are three modes of operation - normal, eco, and sport. Each mode has particular settings relating to power output and battery conservation.

The Mokka’s Battery Is Easy To Charge

To preserve the battery and improve the range of the vehicle, its top speed is limited to 93mph. In terms of charging the battery, it’s super quick. Using its 100kW DC fast-charging system, The Mokk-e battery can be 80% charged in just 30 minutes. The electric-battery range offers drivers up to 201 miles on a full charge, and there is a range of charging options for all circumstances. Choose from a wall box, high-speed charging, or a cable solution for the household socket.

The Mokka-e Comes With New Features

The new Vauxhall Mokka-e is smaller than previous generations while still offering its five passengers a loading space of up to 350 litres. It also incorporates the latest digital technology into the cabin. The easy-to-use touchscreen connects your phone to the car and allows you to browse music and make calls entirely hands free and without any obstructive wires. The state-of-the-art navigation system is also fully integrated and easy to use - it gets you to your destination without fuss and indicates electric charging stations along the way.

The New Mokka-e Has A Bold Personality

Vauxhall’s Managing Director Stephen Norman has stated that in the second generation of Mokka vehicles, the first being launched in 2012, the philosophy continues to be bold and pure. Simply looking at the vehicle from the outside certainly gives this impression. The Mokka displays athletic proportions, bold colours, and flowing surfaces. The all-new Vauxhall Vizor runs along the front beneath the bonnet and contains Intellilux LED Matrix headlights. The Vizor is punctuated by the classic Vauxhall Griffin in the centre and will be used throughout the 2020s.

It’s an SUV Built For The City

The Mokka-e is an SUV in all but size. It provides drivers with an elevated cabin and driving position for maximum visibility, a state-of-the-art interior, and a feeling of security for you and your family. But the Mokka-e offers further benefits over conventional SUVs. Without sacrificing any interior space, the Mokka-e has a smaller chassis making city parking much more accessible. Furthermore, with many cities introducing low-emissions zones, the Mokka-e is the electric SUV you need for inner-city driving.

Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Drive Motor Retail Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes Vauxhall Finance. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to Vauxhall Finance, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to be make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and Vauxhall Finance also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
