Vauxhall Insignia New 2020 Vauxhall Insignia
The new Vauxhall Insignia 2020 will go on sale this summer, and enthusiasts are already ready to learn more about the specs, features, and what else they can expect from the facelifted car.
The most exciting features in this upgrade are both cosmetic and technological, with on-board technology that will give you more control than ever before.
With that in mind, let’s dive a little deeper into what you can fully expect from the new 2020 Vauxhall Insignia.
Going Beyond Standard
The price for the new Insignia will range from £23,120 to £38,850. Some of the standard features in the new model include:
- LED headlamps
- 17-inch alloy wheels
- Heated door mirrors
- Driver-assistance technology
- Lane-keeping assistance
- Parking assistance
- Sign recognition
The seven-inch system inside the car literally puts you “in the driver’s seat,” as it swiftly combines entertainment with information, allowing you to connect either Apple CarPlay or Android Audio.
Vauxhall has taken a few initiatives to upgrade the Insignia in meaningful ways, too. For example, each vehicle features 84 LED bulbs in the headlamps, which are not only more powerful than the halogen bulbs used before, but far more energy-efficient.
Notable Cosmetic Changes
Upon first glance, you’ll notice a few differences in the 2020 Insignia. Some of the most notable changes include the 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and the VX-line body kit. With black headlining, leather seats that are perforated and a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, it’s safe to say that above all, this is a great-looking car.
The Insignia has always paid attention to consumer comfort, and the latest model is no different. Not only are the front and rear seats heated, but the drivers can opt for a massage, too. It’s a great way to combine comfort, luxury, and power, and Vauxhall has seemed to effortlessly stream those components together in this car.
Examining the Engine
There will be four new engines to choose from with the 2020 Insignia. Three of them use petrol, while one utilizes diesel. The entry-level engine is a 1.4 litre, three-cylinder unit. It features 143bhp and a torque of 236Nm. With it comes a six-speed manual transmission.
At the higher end of the petrol options, the GSi model has 350Nm of torque.
With that much power, consumers can feel comforted to know that the Insignia features upgraded safety features, too, including a front-collision alert system and blind-spot monitoring. It even features extra airbags and a reverse camera that makes it easy to see other vehicles or pedestrians behind you.
