Vauxhall Corsa 2019 Review

The 2019 Vauxhall Corsa is set to hit the market this year and if early reports are anything to go by, it will make quite an impression. The new Corsa is packed full of fantastic fresh features and exciting operating systems that have never been seen before in this model. The new Corsa was actually developed over just two years but the producers are confident it will still be a hit when it reaches the market. Let’s look at some of the changes that will arrive with the new model and what is going to stay the same.

What’s New?

You might be familiar with small cars having a 1-litre engine. That’s about to change with the latest Corsa. It’s going to primarily be on sale with a more powerful 1.2-litre engine which should be familiar to those who have recently bought a variety of Vauxhall models.

As well as this, the car will also be available in an electronic variety. The electric version of the Corsa will travel a staggering 250 miles which are roughly the standard for eco-friendly vehicles. It’s a big boost for Vauxhall because there’s no word on an electronic Fiesta - the Corsa’s main competition.

Regarding style and the exterior design of the vehicle, you might be shocked to learn that there will be no three-door version of this vehicle. That’s due to a lower number of sales for this type of car in recent years with customers favouring a family friendly five-door variety instead. Beyond the additional doors, the vehicle will also have a stunning new grille and light design to ensure it looks great on the road and the driveway. There is also an all-glass fascia panel.

Inside, the Corsa will come equipped with a touch-screen infotainment system. User-friendly and sleek, this is going to be great fun to use and easy to operate even while driving.

What’s Staying the Same?

The first factor that won’t change between the new and the latest version is the size. The company has made it clear that they have had positive reviews about the size of the vehicle. Indeed, it hasn’t changed since 2014 and this decision will likely stay the same. Vauxhall has had a lot of positive feedback about the size of the car with many users claiming it is perfect for a compact vehicle. Specifically, the car will have a height of 1479mm, a width of 1736 mm and a length of 4021mm. So, it’s not going to disappoint those already in love with the general dimensions of the current Corsa. Despite being roughly the same size, the vehicle is expected to provide more space. This will be achieved with some clever design concepts to increase boost volume.

Unfortunately, the price will be slightly higher than the current model on the market. Indeed, the new Corsa is expected to be roughly £500 more. But with the new features, improved tech and stunning design it’s more than worth the additional cost.

Drive Motor Retail Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Drive Motor Retail Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes Vauxhall Finance. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to Vauxhall Finance, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to be make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and Vauxhall Finance also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
