Added: 11 April 2017

This Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer is the newest estate to join the Insignia range and will be available to order later this year. The new model will have its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will officially launch in showrooms sometime in early 2018. We take you through some of the details you’ll need to know!

Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer design and specifications

Stylish and sophisticated, the new Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer will stand out from the crowd. It’s bold and sleek body work, coupled with smart and practical interior make it a brilliant and spacious estate car.

The top of the range model is available as four-wheel drive only and comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. There isn’t word yet on the final engine specs that will be available but we already know there will be a new top-of-the-range diesel option. The new model gets a 20mm height increase compared to the previous model and sits on an all-new chassis design.

The car is designed to be super practical and includes features such as keyless entry, a simple kicking motion under the rear bumper opens the boot, great for those who have their hands full! The Country Tourer comes with an impressive 1,665 litres of boot space, 135 more than the older model. If you do find some way of filling that boot space then roof rails come as standard, capable of carrying loads of up to 100kg.

There is also heated seats, windscreen and steering wheel, so you won’t have to worry about warming up in those winter months!

In the driver’s seat you’ll find a top spec infotainment system as well as Vauxhalls handy OnStar personal assistant. We’ll be able to share more details once the model goes on show in Frankfurt later in the year.
